How would you describe your photography style?
We take a photo journalism approach to telling the story of your day. While there is a place for posed or group photos our goal is to document to day in a personal, realistic and organic way. We strive to catch the intimate moments - the embrace of father and daughter, bride and groom holding hands or stealing a coy glance at one another. We document all of the details from the petals of the flowers to the groomsman's socks. We am most pleased when the bride and groom can look back on the day and remember how it made them feel and the joy of all of those who surrounded them. We like to keep photography low stress and relaxed so you can focus on what's important and just enjoy your special moments.
How many hours can we expect you to be at the wedding?
Our goal is to tell your story, so as many hours as it takes. Most of our wedding packages offer coverage between 8-10 hours, meaning we’ll be there to capture the bride preparing for the ceremony and stay well into the reception to capture all of your special moments. We look to capture moments that relay emotion and tell the story.
How many photos can I expect to be captured on my wedding day?
It ranges depending on the length of the wedding and number of guests or attendants, but typically between 500-700 images. We may take up to 2,000 shots in one day but we edit them down so that you just get the very best images and present them to you in a way that tells your story.
Do you carry back up gear?
Yes. We always have extra camera bodies and lenses with me just in case. We also stock our camera bags with more than enough SD cards and fully charged batteries.
When will we get our photos?
We believe you shouldn't have to wait months to get your wedding photos back so we deliver your edited images to you within four weeks after your wedding (but we can't help but send you lots of sneak peeks because we get so excited as I go through the editing process!).
Will our images be available to view on-line?
Absolutely! Within the first week after the wedding we typically do a sneak peek blog post with a few of your best photos from the day. After all images have been edited they are uploaded to my gallery website through ShootProof. At that time you and anyone else (friends/family/coworkers) can view your photos. If you prefer to have a private gallery we create your gallery with password protection.
